For this project, I worked with a group of four people and we were tasked with making a short video with a screenplay written by a student. This is the opening scene to the film that sets the mood and tone of the rest of the film. I used longer clips and subtle transitions as well as a dark color correction to give the film a monotone vibe which is appropriate for the context of the film.

This video was a class project that involved the entire class going to a set to create multiple camera setups and lighting. Each student got a chance to direct the actors and give their input for the direction of the video. After the video was shot each of us was tasked with making our own edit. This is the final product of my edit.

This video was based off a script that I and other group members wrote. This video was also one of the first college videos I wrote, directed and edited.

This video is another script that I wrote and acted in. I tried to create a comedy by having a dramatic build up and then releasing that build up with a comedic surprise.

This video was my first attempt at a classic documentary style video. This was a change of pace from the other projects I was used to creating. I had to seek out information about the topic and find interesting ways of presenting the footage. I used stock images and footage as visuals that went along with my narration.

For my documentary class, we were tasked with going to a farmers market and talk to people and try to extract interesting stories from those people to create a documentary. This project forced me to get out of my shell and talk to strangers and connect with them on a level so they felt comfortable opening up.

This was one of my first attempts at color correction using the footage taken by my professor. I tried to create an uplifting mood by using high saturation to bring out the red and blue of the footage.

This video was made as a hypothetical example of an invention that we had to imagine. I used several editing techniques to make it seem like the person was using glasses to interact with a 3D modeling program.

This is an animated intro sequence that I created for an imaginary show to practice creating animated intros.

This is an animation that showcases parallax scrolling and the use of puppet pins. I created the animation in After Effects and the assets in Illustrator.
