For my senior capstone, I have created an application for the university that allows users to find certain locations around the university and watch short documentaries about the history of the specific location. I have used a software called PhoneGap which allows the creator to code in HTML to create an application that is cross-compatible with Android and Apple products. For this project, I wanted to focus on creating a way for people new and people familiar with the campus to learn and expand their knowledge of the university and its history. I have applied many of the skills I have learned such as programming, video production, graphic design and user experience to make this project a complete and useful application. It has afforded me the opportunity to expand the knowledge I have learned and learn new skills to make me more of a knowledgeable person in multiple fields of work.
